We have also chosen to become a member of the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This decision was made because we consider it necessary that we have not only more formalized and higher professional and technical standards to achieve, but also that some independent authority periodically review our adherence to those standards. Consequently, we are periodically "audited" by a team of CPA's sent to our office by the PCPS. At the conclusion of their examination they issue a report as to our adherence to technical and professional standards.
